Rotary Serves Up Turkey
Normally the Cedar Springs Rotary is known for serving up grilled chicken as a fundraiser on Red Flannel Day in October. This year we wanted to get out and share some of our earnings with the community. Rotarians Sue Wolfe coordinated with the St. John Paul II Catholic Parish about serving the meal at their weekly community dinner, God’s Potluck, on November 24. Rotarian Carolyn Davis planned the meal and scheduled the workers to include the new Interact Club at Cedar Springs High School. The two clubs cooked and served salad, turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, and wonderful homemade desserts to about 70 persons.
